Somerset home sales range from $460,000 to $640,000 in July recording period
Somerset recorded 16 property deeds between July 3 and Aug. 1, nine of which had a sale price recorded ranging from $460,000 to $640,000, with a median of $525,000. The month's top sale was 205 Eastview Ave., which sold for $640,000 on July 13 from Marc J. Sutherland to Desiree S. Cantwell. Seven of the 16 recorded transfers were within-family moves into trusts or life estates with no price recorded yet, meaning more than a third of the period's activity did not reflect open-market sales -- a pattern worth noting for anyone reading total transaction counts as a demand signal.
