Somerset home sale prices span nearly $350,000 as median tops $468,000
Somerset recorded 19 property sales in the four weeks ending Sept. 19, with prices ranging from $375,000 to $724,900 and a median of $468,422. Thirteen of the 19 deeds carried a sale price; six had not yet been updated with a consideration amount. The month's top sale was 126 Grove Ave, which went for $724,900 on Aug. 28, followed closely by 2118 Riverside Ave at $723,200. Highview Avenue was the only street with two recorded transactions. Five of the six price-pending deeds were transfers within the same family or into a trust or life estate. The data shows a wide spread between the town's lowest and highest sale prices but no single price tier dominating the period.
